This is a time to laugh, play, and be goofy! When I work with a family, couple or graduate, I will direct you in a way where you will be given the opportunity to show all the lovely personalities. For example, I may have a family play tag or a game of chase in order to get those smiles going. I will direct you to hug and cuddle in certain ways that will allow the camera to capture the love shared in your family.

After you look over the information provided, you can book your session, complete the contract, and fill out a questionnaire. This questionnaire can really help me get to know your family and the desires for your session.
Depending on the session you book, we will either meet at a location or you will come to my in home studio. Either way, we will have a blast!
In 3-4 weeks after your session, you will receive a gallery where you can download all your images. You can also use the online store provided through the gallery. Pixieset provides high quality prints that will last forever and be true in color.
Ok, so this might not be the photo you hang on the wall at home, but look at the pure joy! While I strive to be the honored photographer that takes the pictures that make it on the wall of fame in your home, I also love capturing THESE moments! This is where the personalities shine and everyone becomes more comfortable in front of the camera.
For a full hour session, you will receive 25-30 edited images. These images will be meticulously looked over and adjusted to my coloring and style.
It is most important that you and your family are comfortable! If you are looking for those Pinterest type pictures, my suggestion is coordinate your outfits. This does not mean match. Listen, I definitely have been guilty of being part of the group pictures where we all wore white t-shirts and jeans. This uniform doesn't provide a natural representation of your family. Coordinated colors allow you to look cohesive without clashing colors. If you would like some help coordinating outfits, I am here. You can text me outfits and options! I'm happy to help!
A newborn studio session, usually takes around 3-4 hours. This is not because I will actively be taking pictures the whole time. The timeframe is because your little one will be taking the lead in this show! Which is exactly how it should be at this time! Because the timeframe is so long, I find the best time to start is mid-morning around 10:00 am.
Whether it's a family session or senior session, all outdoor portrait sessions are best during golden hour just after the sun rises or before the sun sets. This means the time changes based on the time of year.
The average turn around time to edit your beautiful pictures is 3-4 weeks. This can vary based off of my current volume.
While Walmart and Shutterfly are cost effective, there is quality lost with the savings. I suggest using Pixieset shop. Their quality preserves the integrity of the pictures. If you need any help choosing images and/or products, I would be happy to help.
