FAQ
How should we dress for our family session?
It is most important that you and your family are comfortable! If you are looking for those Pinterest type pictures, my suggestion is coordinate your outfits. This does not mean match. Listen, I definitely have been guilty of being part of the group pictures where we all wore white t-shirts and jeans. This uniform doesn't provide a natural representation of your family. Coordinated colors allow you to look cohesive without clashing colors. If you would like some help coordinating outfits, I am here. You can text me outfits and options! I'm happy to help!
What if I want more images than the amount in the package?
The option to purchase more images is available. There will be a cost per image due to the time spent on hand editing.
What is the best time for an outdoor portrait session?
Whether it's a family session or senior session, all outdoor portrait sessions are best during golden hour just after the sun rises or before the sun sets. This means the time changes based on the time of year.
Where should we print our images?
While Walmart and Shutterfly are cost effective, there is quality lost with the savings. I suggest using Pixieset shop. Their quality preserves the integrity of the pictures. If you need any help choosing images and/or products, I would be happy to help.
When will we receive our images?
You will first receive a proof gallery where you will choose the images that you want included in your gallery. These images are lightly edited. After you choose the images in your gallery, I will hand edit looking at the smallest details. This whole process usually takes about 4 weeks depending on how quickly the images are selected.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
A newborn studio session, usually takes around 3-4 hours. This is not because I will actively be taking pictures the whole time. The timeframe is because your little one will be taking the lead in this show! Which is exactly how it should be at this time! Because the timeframe is so long, I find the best time to start is mid-morning around 10:00 am.
